Owing to the success of last year’s event, Banbridge District Council has once again teamed up with the management of The OUTLET to hold its annual fireworks display within the grounds of the designer outlet centre. Preparing to make this year’s festivities bigger and better than ever, The OUTLET is placing a significant investment in the event alongside Banbridge District Council with the aim of providing a great night out for the whole community. The OUTLET, which opened in April 2007, is already an integral part of the Banbridge community and staff are looking forward to working hand in hand with Banbridge District Council to stage this event. Euan Forbes, Centre Manager at The OUTLET comments: “We have the opportunity to provide another fun family night out at The OUTLET for local residents this Hallowe’en. It is great to see the community coming together and the ongoing partnership with Banbridge District Council will allow us the chance to make sure this year’s fireworks event will be the best yet.” Fancy dress competitions and great prize giveaways will be among the many attractions planned to keep the whole community entertained at the event. Council Chairman Councillor Norah Beare comments: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with the staff and management of The OUTLET again this year. The OUTLET is the perfect location to host such an event, as it has great facilities and ample car parking to ensure we can cater for a larger number of visitors. And the joint resources available will help us to provide a fun and safe night out for all the family to enjoy.” The celebrations will begin at 5pm with the Big Fireworks Finale at 8.30pm on Friday 31st October.
